10k Run
A big thank you to Amy, Andy, Bridget, Dan, Fran, Gemma, Gracie and Ryan who took part in the 10k Run for CCT and Steve too who wanted to run but had a knee injury and had to drop out at the last minute.
London to Paris Bike Ride
Elena rode all the way to Paris with a broken toe for CCT. She says that the first day was the toughest but that after 300 miles, the sight of the Eiffel Tower was overwhelming and the atmosphere as they pedalled the last few miles amazing, the best part of the trip. Michelle was going to go too but had to drop out for health reasons. We hope she’ll try again.
Parachute Jump
Paul leaped out of an aeroplane for us in the 10,000 feet Tandem Skydive. Asked if he felt scared, he said only when he had to jump!
There are still places on the Kilimanjaro Trek this autumn and for other events, please keep checking the website. We are so grateful to all of you for your support, perseverance and courage and hope that others will be encouraged by your example. Just get in touch if you’d like to take part in a sponsored event for CCT.
